Hospitality Compass is a hospitality consulting firm specializing in bars and restaurants as well as smaller Quick Service Restaurant operations.

Gary Yip, the company's founder, has been in the hospitality industry for the last 20 years. He has owned and operated some of the most iconic venues in NJ. With a background in culinary arts and hospitality management, his experience ranges from upscale full service restaurants, to bars, nightclubs, and QSR franchises. He has experience in all aspects of Front-of-House operations, including management, marketing, and accounting of bars & restaurants, as well as the ability to step into and manage the Back-of-House kitchen operations.

Gary believes that having a strong team is the key to success, and there is no role too small or less important than the other. He is an expert at implementing processes to streamline operations so the management team can focus on high level KPI's and driving business.
